"intersections"

In 2012, the following black and white project was showcased in FSU's Digitech conference. intersections is a gallery of black and white images representing the intersections between the human experience and its digital memorialization online. Every image in the galleries attempts to evoke emotions, to evoke the reality of relationships as I see them through the viewfinder.

The vast majority of images were captured using the Canon 5D Mark II, and a vast majority of those images were shot from a very close perspective – with a 35mm lens. All images were shot in color, and edited in Lightroom and Photoshop for more extensive color adjustments if needed, cropping, final conversion to black and white, and optimization of the images for suitable viewing online.
