Greetings. My name is Casey Yu and I am a PhD student in the Information Studies program at Florida State University. Previously, I worked in higher education in residence life. I have an MEd in Counseling Psychology (concentration in College Student Personnel Administration), and a BA in Political Science, both from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
In my spare time (hah!) I am a professional wedding and portrait photographer (you can see my portfolio here, a mom to two rambunctious kiddos (Matthew is 4, and Lindsey is almost 2), and wife to Josh, who is also a PhD student at Florida State. Yes, we’re probably certifiable.
